I’ve been following David Duran’s case for a while now, and I just can't shake how difficult it must be for his family to live with so few answers. I was looking through some old news articles and saw that the neighborhood where he was found often had issues with gang violence. It makes me wonder if maybe someone saw something and is just too scared to come forward. I can’t imagine the frustration his family must feel knowing that whoever did this is still out there. Has there been any new outreach or community efforts to encourage people to speak up? I really hope something breaks soon. My thoughts are with his loved ones—they deserve peace.

Has anyone else seen the recent documentary on unsolved cases in Texas? It featured a segment on David Duran’s murder, and it really hit home. It’s unfathomable that a young man can be gunned down in his own neighborhood and for the trail to just go cold. I can't help but wonder if there were missed opportunities early on in the investigation. Was there enough done to canvas the area for witnesses? Maybe potential witnesses were just too scared to speak back then. I can only imagine the pain David's family has endured over the years without any closure. I hope someone who knows something will find the courage to come forward. Cases like these remind us how vital community involvement is. If you haven’t seen the documentary, I highly recommend it—it gives a face to those who are often forgotten. Sending strength to David’s family and hoping for justice someday.
