Has anyone else noticed the malfunctioning security cameras in cases like Scott's? It's so frustrating when potential evidence is missing because of simple issues with equipment. Given that these cameras were inoperative around the time Scott went missing, it makes you wonder if someone planned this, or if it’s just a really unfortunate coincidence. It’s eerie how critical pieces like this are often unavailable when you need them most. I hope investigators can still find other clues, maybe from stores or The Rack & Grill where he often visited. Wishing strength to everyone involved in the search. If any locals have seen or heard anything, please reach out. Every little piece of info helps.
I've been following the discussion around Scott's case, and something that really caught my eye is the timing of his last message. He texted his significant other at 1 a.m. saying he'd be home soon, and then just vanished. This makes me wonder if there might have been an unexpected encounter or something unusual that night. Was it common for him to be out that late, especially since he worked as a caretaker? Could there possibly be a personal or work-related issue that might have contributed to his disappearance? I’m curious if anyone close to him might have insight into his routine or mindset around that time? It's just puzzling that there's no footage due to the security cameras being down. Seems almost too coincidental, don’t you think? Any thoughts?
Reading about Gerald "Scott" Weathers' disappearance really makes one ponder about the places we often overlook when someone's missing. We know Scott frequented stores on Broad Street and visited The Rack & Grill—it's places like these where people might unknowingly hold crucial information. I’ve lived in Augusta and passed by there countless times. For those in the area, maybe take a moment to recall seeing Scott around February 27. Even the smallest details can sometimes break a case open. Could it be possible someone saw him or his vehicle? Maybe there’s a local who remembers something odd or out of place but didn’t report it because it seemed trivial at the time. Let’s keep conversations going and share Scott's story. Every bit helps, and we don’t know where the right lead might come from. Stay alert and share anything you might remember!
