Did anyone else feel blindsided by the revelation that Kevin Roman had been dating Laquinta Johnson? I mean, the fact that someone he was personally involved with turned out to be the one responsible for his murder truly adds another layer of tragedy to this case. It just makes me think about the people we let into our lives and how sometimes we really don’t know them as well as we believe. Kevin was obviously someone who was cared about by so many, his students, his colleagues, and it's unsettling to think that someone who should have been a source of support was instead the one who betrayed him so horrifically. It's just so sad to think about what his family and friends must have gone through, processing not just the loss, but the nature of it all. They must have been completely devastated.
