I’ve been following the discussions about the tragic murders at La Paloma Apartments, and my heart goes out to the families of Pedro Garcia Jr., Matthew Martinez, and Anthony Rodrigues. Something that's been on my mind is the impact on Brownson's family. While there's obviously zero excuse for his actions, I can't help but think about how his wife and kids' lives must have been upended by this horror. It's gut-wrenching to think of them being nearby during such a gruesome act. It just shows that the ripples of violence spread so much further than we often realize. I hope they're getting the support they need to process what's happened, even though the focus, rightfully, should be on the victims and their loved ones. What a heavy burden for everyone touched by this tragedy.
