I have been following Jorge Lagunes Manzanilla's case for a while, and my thoughts are with his family, especially his kids, who have to grow up without their father. One aspect that keeps nagging me is the lack of security at the El Chente Sports Bar that night. How is it that a violent incident like this could happen in the parking lot without proper surveillance or security to deter such acts? It seems that the footage from the gas station was crucial, but shouldn't the bar itself have better security measures in place? I've seen other local establishments beef up their security after incidents like this, but what good is it if it's only a reactive measure and not proactive? I hope business owners take note and prioritize the safety of their patrons, not just for compliance, but for the real people whose lives could depend on it.
