Hey everyone,
I came across this case about Enrique Lopez-Martinez and it's just so upsetting. I'm wondering if anyone else is following the work being done by the Cold Case Squad in the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division. I read that they collaborate with agencies like the FBI to try and solve cases, but it seems like things are moving slowly. Does anyone know if they’ve managed to uncover any new leads recently? It's painful to think about how many families, like Enrique's, are left in limbo, waiting for answers. It must be incredibly difficult for them, especially as the years pass without any resolution. Would love to hear your thoughts on how these cold case squads can make more progress.

Does anyone else find it alarming how some cases, like Enrique Lopez-Martinez's, seem to fall off the radar? It's tragic to think how his family might feel, still waiting for answers after all these years. The increased crime rate in Houston back then must have overwhelmed law enforcement, but it makes me wonder—are there enough resources allocated to cold cases like Enrique's? I've read a bit about how the Cold Case Squad works, but do they have the manpower they need? It's unsettling that time passing might mean justice delayed, if not denied, especially for families desperately seeking closure.
