I’ve been following the case of James Bolden, and something that’s been on my mind is the potential security measures in the neighborhood at the time. Did anyone happen to know if there were any surveillance cameras nearby or neighbors with video doorbells? It worries me how often incidents like these seem to happen when there's no footage to help catch the perpetrators. My heart goes out to his family—it's unfathomable to go through such a senseless act of violence. Hopefully, the police can piece together any small clues to bring some justice and peace to those affected. If anyone has updates on security improvements or witness accounts, let’s keep this thread going. His loved ones deserve answers.

Has anyone else been thinking about how these young suspects managed to find an unlocked window at 4220 Grassmere? It just seems so eerie. I can't stop imagining the fear Mr. Bolden must have experienced when he saw those masked intruders in his home. I read in some reports that this area of Houston isn't notorious for home invasions like this, so I'm puzzled how they knew about the window or if they randomly checked all the possible entry points. My heart goes out to James's family and friends who have to deal with such a senseless loss. If anyone in the neighborhood recalled seeing anything suspicious around that time, I really hope they come forward to help move the investigation along.
