Has anyone else been following Susan Alery's case? It's been over six years now, and it still weighs heavily on my mind. Reading about how 2017 was so plagued with violence in Houston makes me wonder how detectives prioritize these cases. Susan's tragic death is such a solemn reminder of so many lives lost during that time. I really feel for her family and friends who have had to endure this long wait for answers. It must be incredibly difficult knowing that justice hasn't been served yet. I'm hopeful that with advancements in forensic technology, we'll eventually see some movement in Susan's case as well as many others from that tragic year. If anyone has updates or new insights, please share. It's important to keep Susan and others like her in our thoughts and continue pushing for answers.

Hi, i don’t know if you’ll see this but i am Susan’s daughter and i just wanted to really quickly thank you. It brought me to tears reading what you wrote and how other people haven’t forgotten her after hours upon hours of trying to find some shred of her existence online. As the years drone on it becomes harder and harder to find any trace of her or her story. Thank you for keeping her alive in your thoughts. Blessings to you.

It is cases like these that need more energy and effort put into. There are people out there that care and want to find justice for the victims. Unfortunately it seems like only the ones that have a bunch of people behind the case get press and more of a focus.

Susan is absolutely not forgotten. I pray for your family to find peace and resolution.

I've been following Susan Alery's case closely, and it really makes you think about how many stories like hers remain unresolved. One angle I find particularly troubling is the lack of witnesses. Houston had so many homicides in 2017, and it seems like fear or indifference might keep people from coming forward with information. You'd think that in a bustling city like Houston, someone might have seen or heard something that could help. It's tough thinking about Susan's loved ones left in the dark, holding onto hope that someday, someone might have the courage or the heart to speak up. I've always believed that community tips can be invaluable in solving these cases, and I hope more people realize how crucial this is. Maybe discussions like these can help raise enough awareness to encourage that.
