Has anyone else been following the case of Shavon McKinnon? She’s the 12-year-old girl who went missing from Jacksonville recently. I read somewhere that the disappearance of children like Shavon is, unfortunately, not an isolated phenomenon in that area lately. It's really unsettling. In discussions I've come across, people are talking about how the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the Justice Coalition are putting out calls for the community to help out. I think it’s great that local organizations are rallying around this. It’s really important for everyone to stay alert and share any info, no matter how small it might seem. I'm wondering if there are any specific neighborhoods where people have noticed suspicious activity? Or if maybe there are community meetings being organized to discuss ways to improve local safety? It feels like we all need to be on the lookout to prevent more situations like this from happening. If anyone has info, please share! It's so important that we all do what we can to help bring Shavon—and others—home safely.
