Anyone else find it odd that despite Sheila Jarvis’s case being listed on NamUs, there haven't been any significant developments? With advancements in DNA technology and wider information-sharing platforms like NamUs, I'd expect at least some movement over the years. It’s almost like there’s a missing piece in the investigation that’s never been considered, or maybe someone out there knows more than they’ve let on. I read somewhere that cold cases from the 70s have unique challenges—mostly around evidence degradation and changes in how investigations were conducted back then. Maybe Buffalo PD needs a fresh perspective or pressure from renewed public interest? Has anyone else seen cases revived after similar circumstances? It just feels like more can be done to find justice for Sheila and her family. Thoughts?

Does anyone else find it strange that there were supposedly no witnesses around when Sheila Jarvis disappeared? Buffalo in the late 70s was a bustling place, and you'd think someone might have seen or heard something. It's like she just vanished into thin air. I know there weren't as many surveillance cameras back then, but if anyone reading this was around that area during that time, maybe you might remember something? People tend to forget things that seem insignificant initially, but anything could help the investigation. Sometimes it's the smallest detail that can break a case wide open. Keeping my fingers crossed that someone might come forward with new information.
