Hi everyone, I’ve been following the James Thomas case from Knoxville, and something keeps nagging at me. It's been over four decades, and while the Cold Case Unit is working hard, I wonder how often they're actually able to track down the original people who worked on the case back in 1980. Sometimes the smallest detail, overlooked at the time, could now be a breakthrough with today's technology. Also, I think about how advances in forensic science might not just rest with DNA. Could someone clarify whether they also look at things like digital forensics that might help indirectly? It's a long shot, but anything that might help identify who James was with in those final days or who he might have communicated with could be beneficial. My thoughts are with James' family. It’s so vital to keep this case in the public's eye, hoping not just for justice, but maybe some peace for them too. If anyone has any insights or updates, please share! Thanks for keeping the conversation going. --- (Note: Always remember if you have any information to reach out to the authorities directly.)
