I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of community involvement in unsolved cases like Shonna Le Mayes’. It’s so frustrating to see so many of these cases go cold, and I keep wondering if there’s more that we, as a community, could do to help. I know it's been decades since Shonna was taken away from her family and friends, but with the advances in DNA testing and the power of social media for spreading awareness, it feels like there’s always a chance to uncover new leads. Does anyone know if there have been any recent efforts to organize community events or online campaigns to keep Shonna’s case in the public eye? It feels like we owe it to her family to keep pushing for answers.
