Just heard about Sonya Paradis' case again recently and it got me thinking about how tough these searches must be in Alaska. Has anyone here ever been involved in search efforts in such challenging terrain? The Alaskan wilderness is no joke, and it seems like it would make it incredibly difficult to find someone or any evidence. I read somewhere that dense forests and remote areas can really slow things down, not to mention the harsh weather conditions. I'm curious if there are particular strategies or tools that search teams have found effective in these kinds of environments, especially when the standard methods aren't enough. It must be incredibly frustrating for everyone involved when the clues are so scarce and the land itself is this massive obstacle. If anyone has insights or experience to share, I’m all ears!
