Has anyone else been looking into the details surrounding the shell casings found at the scene where Timothy Turner was shot? It’s been gnawing at me considering they found casings from two different firearms. This suggests there were potentially two shooters, or at least a shooter with access to multiple guns. Could this point to a planned attack rather than a random act? It’s so wild they haven’t been able to develop any solid leads with that kind of evidence. My heart goes out to Timothy’s family who has had to wait so long for answers. With new advancements in forensic technology, I hope they’re able to re-examine everything they have—fingerprinting, ballistic analysis, even DNA testing on those casings could bring a breakthrough. Is there any known gang activity that aligns with the use of those types of weapons in the area back then? It just seems like such a reckless and senseless attack. I really hope justice is served for Timothy, and that more exposure on this case will bring someone forward with reliable information.
I’ve been thinking about the community around Leverett's bar and how it was such a hotspot for trouble back in 1990. I can’t help but wonder if local tensions and gang activities were more pervasive than people realized. Was Timothy just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or could there have been something more targeted about this attack? It's chilling to imagine a group of friends like Timothy, William, and Kevin just trying to enjoy a night out, not knowing the danger that was lurking nearby. The fact that 17 shell casings were found and yet the shooter wasn’t caught makes it feel like there’s a cloud still hanging over Knoxville. It's been over three decades, and I hope for Timothy’s family that new leads or advancements in forensic tech might someday break this case open. It’s tough knowing the streets carried on, with others possibly facing similar threats. My thoughts are with those who’ve had to shoulder this painful uncertainty all these years.
