I’ve been following the Adam Montanez case out of Azusa, and I was just thinking about the role that NamUs plays in these missing persons investigations. It’s amazing how it acts as a database where families and law enforcement can pool information. If I’m not mistaken, NamUs isn't utilized enough in some of these cases, and I wonder if more awareness about it could make a difference in finding people like Adam. Has anyone here ever been involved in a case where NamUs played a crucial role? Would love to hear some thoughts or experiences. It's so important to keep these resources in the public eye.
