Just came across Ramsis Iskandar's case from 2007 while doing some research on unsolved homicides in Nashville, and I really hope his family finds the closure they deserve. It must be incredibly difficult for them to not have answers for so long. I read that the Cold Case Unit is reviewing past evidence with new DNA technology and forensic methods, which sounds promising. It's impressive how they partner with other agencies like the FBI to broaden their resources.
Does anyone know if there have been any recent updates or if there's been more media coverage to push for new leads? It always feels like community awareness can make such a significant impact in these situations. Offering rewards for helpful tips sounds like a great motivator, too. Let's hope someone comes forward with information that helps MNPD finally solve this case and bring justice for Ramsis and his loved ones.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Ramsis Iskandar case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the dedication of the MNPD’s Cold Case Unit. It’s so important to recognize the immense effort these detectives put into revisiting old cases, especially with limited resources and high caseloads. I can’t imagine how tough it must be to look through files that are decades old while also dealing with the emotional weight of these unsolved mysteries.
Just imagine the relief for Iskandar’s family and friends if they finally get some answers. From everything I’ve read, the collaboration between different agencies like the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the FBI seems crucial. The fresh perspectives and combined resources really make a difference. Plus, DNA technology has come a long way since 2007, so I’m really hopeful that advancements there could help uncover something new.
I’m grateful for the community involvement, too. It’s amazing how tips from locals and media broadcasts can breathe new life into these cases. I hope people continue to stay engaged and provide any info they might have. It could change everything for Iskandar’s loved ones.
If anyone has insights or ideas on how to further support cold case investigations in Nashville, I’d love to hear them. Let’s keep these conversations going and support the families waiting for justice.
Stay safe out there!
