I've been following Sky O'Banion's case pretty closely, and I can't help but think about the Guerneville bridge sighting. It's strange to me how he was reportedly seen in that area on the same night he left his girlfriend's place. The Russian River around that area is pretty treacherous this time of year, with all the rain we've had. Has anyone heard if there were more details about this sighting? Was it someone who knew him well or just a passerby? I also wonder if anyone's talked about the river conditions during the days following his disappearance. Could something have happened there? It's disconcerting, and I truly hope the search parties find some new info soon. Anyone else local who has heard other rumors or updates?
Has anyone talked about the connection between Sky's disappearance and the unpredictable weather around the Russian River this January? I've read that the river's levels can rise pretty quickly, and it's not uncommon for it to be hazardous, especially in the winter months. Knowing that he was last seen near the Guerneville bridge makes me wonder about the conditions that night. Did anyone else experience heavy rain or notice anything suspicious on January 21 around that area? It's such a close-knit community, I'm hoping someone might have seen or heard something unusual.
