I was looking into Christa Sehested's case, and one thing that caught my attention is the role that community surveillance might play in these investigations. I know that in some areas, doorbell cameras like Ring or Nest have provided crucial evidence in missing persons cases. It makes me wonder if there's a push to collect video footage from neighbors in Christa's area, especially around the time she vanished. It could be a long shot, but even the smallest detail captured on someone’s camera might provide a clue or confirm her last-known movements. Does anyone know if Tempe PD has considered this angle, or if they're coordinating with residents to check their footage from that period? Just thinking out loud here, hoping it might spark some more ideas or thoughts from others who are familiar with how these things can work.
