Can you believe it's been over 15 years since Jeremy Caldwell was taken from us? It feels like just yesterday the community was coming together trying to process this senseless act. The thing that really gets me is how loved he was by his friends and family. I've heard he was always smiling and had this incredible light about him. It's just tragic that someone so full of life could have it all snuffed out in an instant. I used to frequent that little area near East 8th Street, and I always think about how his friends must feel carrying that memory with them. I mean, witnessing something so horrific at such a young age must leave deep scars. My heart truly goes out to them and Jeremy's family who still visit his resting place at Rosemount. It's so sad when a town loses one of its own like this and even worse when there are no answers. I pray for justice and that some peace finds its way to those hurting.
