Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Larry Beyers, and something that really stands out to me is the role of the stolen items, particularly the Motorola two-way radio with the model number MX330. Since it was a work-issued device, I'm wondering whether it could have any significant identifiers beyond the serial number, like internal markings or modifications made by Southwest Marine. Surveillance tech was obviously not what it is today, but maybe there could be records of the radio's last known usage or attempts to activate it post-theft. Considering it might have the initials "SWM" engraved on it makes me wonder if it could turn up somewhere or if anyone's tried to track it on secondary markets right after the incident. Stolen electronics are sometimes sold quickly, and someone might have seen or known of this transaction, even if they didn't realize it at the time. The people who knew Larry personally, his colleagues, and law enforcement must still be searching for answers, and any lead, no matter how small, could make a difference. If any of you have insights into tracking such items from that era or know of similar cases where stolen electronics surfaced later on, please share. I'm hopeful that there are still ways to bring some closure to what happened that night. Stay safe, [Username]
