Hey everyone, I've been following Essex Isaac Washington's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on his daughter, Essence. I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to grow up without her father, knowing that his case was unresolved for such a long time. As a community, we often talk about the victims and their families, but it’s important to remember the ripple effects these tragedies have, especially on kids who lose a parent. Now that Aaron Berkley has been arrested, I hope this brings some sense of peace or closure to Essence and the whole Washington family. It must have been incredibly tough these past years, yet I’m touched by how fondly his loved ones remember Essex.
