Hey everyone, I've been following the Anthony Bernard Rogers case, and something that really sticks out to me is how beloved he was in his community. From what I've read, he was known as "6-9" by his friends, which speaks to the close-knit relationships he had with those around him. For someone to have such a nickname, it's clear he must have had a unique presence and a significant impact on people’s lives. It's so tough to process how someone with such warmth and connection could be taken in such a tragic manner. The pain his family and friends must be enduring is unimaginable, especially with so few answers about why this happened. It's frustrating to see another case where a good person is lost and the community is left searching for justice and closure. Sending thoughts to everyone who knew him—hoping for some resolution soon. Stay safe out there, everyone.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how the community responded when Anthony "6-9" Rogers was murdered. The support for his family was really touching, but what’s been on my mind is how this affects Kingsbury High alumni and anyone who knew him through Knoxville College. It’s like a stone being thrown into a pond, the ripples just keep going. To have known someone from those formative years and then hear about their tragic end must be so difficult. I’ve seen posts here from folks who didn’t know him personally but shared mutual friends, and it’s clear that even a decade later, his loss echoes throughout circles beyond immediate family and friends. My heart goes out to those who are just reminded of the void left in his absence every time they hear about this case resurfacing. If anyone feels like sharing stories or memories about Anthony that shed light on his life, I think it could really help in keeping his spirit present in more than just the tragic headlines.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Anthony Bernard Rogers, known by his friends as "6-9," and I just can't stop thinking about what a void his passing must have left in the lives of those who knew him. It's clear he was an important part of his community, not just as a dedicated employee at ECSI Inc. but also as someone who had deep roots in Memphis, having graduated from Kingsbury High School and even attending Knoxville College at one time. I read somewhere that he was the kind of person who always had a smile for everyone, and you can't help but wonder how someone with such a positive life force could end up in such a tragic situation. It's incredibly frustrating that, after all this time, we still don’t know much about why this happened to him. If anybody who knew him or has insights into his life feels comfortable sharing, I think it would really help us understand more about "6-9" as a person and not just as another name in the news. Let's keep his memory alive and continue hoping for some resolution for his loved ones.
