Has anyone else been following the Devon Huff case out of Fairbanks? It's so puzzling to me that they haven't found any sign of him after he entered the Chena River in August. I recently started looking into the terrain and river conditions over there, and it sounds incredibly treacherous. The currents are reportedly strong, and the banks can be pretty thick with vegetation, which only adds layers to the search difficulties. I'm just curious if anyone here has experience with search ops in similar environments or knows how feasible it is to truly canvas such areas effectively. I hope the search teams are safe out there; it seems like a massive challenge. And, honestly, what can the community do to support the ongoing efforts? Keeping an eye out for updates and sending good thoughts to Devon's family in this impossibly difficult time.
