Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on Shawn Cassidy Forbes' case, and there's something that's really been on my mind. I can't imagine what his family must be going through, not knowing why someone would do this to Shawn. He sounded like such a hardworking young man, only 19 and working as a security guard. It seems like he was just trying to make his way in the world, and someone took that from him without any clear reason.
What puzzles me is the witness description of the suspect. How does someone flee with a shotgun without drawing more attention? I keep thinking there might be someone else out there who saw something or remembers something unusual from that night. San Diego is a big city even back then, but maybe someone from the area drove by or heard something but didn’t realize its significance at the time. If anyone out there has even the tiniest detail from that time, it could potentially make a difference for Shawn’s family and help them find some sense of justice.
I really hope more details emerge and that we’ll see some breakthroughs in this cold case. Let's keep spreading the word!
Hey everyone,
I've been following some of the updates on the Shawn Cassidy Forbes case, and something that's really stuck with me is the sheer unpredictability of his murder. Reports mentioned that Forbes had only been working as a security guard at Evergreen Condominiums for a short period before his tragic death. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must live with the pain of losing someone so young and full of potential. It's truly unsettling to think that someone just starting out in life could be taken so abruptly and senselessly.
What strikes me is the randomness of it all—there didn’t seem to be any known conflicts or issues. Forbes was described as a responsible young man, trying to make his way in the world, and here we are, more than three decades later, with so many questions still left open. How does a family find peace when there's no apparent motive? The uncertainty must be unbearable.
It's also frustrating to hear that witnesses did see a suspect, yet it led nowhere definitive. I wonder if time and advancements in technology could eventually provide some answers. This case serves as a somber reminder of how fleeting life can be and the impact such a tragedy can have on a community. If anyone has ideas or theories, I'd be interested to hear them. Maybe together, we can shed some light on this haunting mystery.
Stay safe out there, everyone.
Has anyone else been looking into the details around Shawn Cassidy Forbes' schedule on the night he was killed? I've been trying to piece together his movements before the tragedy. I read somewhere that he was known for being diligent and took his job seriously, which makes me wonder if he noticed something unusual earlier in his shift that played a part in this. It's so frustrating not knowing the motive behind such a senseless act, and my heart goes out to his family who have had to endure so many unanswered questions for all these years. If there's anyone familiar with the Evergreen Condominiums or Rogers Police Patrol around that time, it would be great to hear any insights. Hopefully, someone sees this and comes forward with information that could finally bring relief to those who knew and loved him.
