I’ve been thinking a lot about Frank McAlister's parents and what they must have gone through for all those years. Losing a child is something unimaginable, but to not know why or how for over two decades must have been pure torment. It’s truly tragic that it took so long for them to get any answers. Brian Hawkins' confession must've been a shock, reopening all those old wounds. How do you even begin to process something like that when you’ve spent so many years dwelling in the unknown? My heart goes out to them and everyone who loved Frank. It’s small comfort that justice was finally served, but I hope they’ve found some peace knowing that the truth is finally out.
