I had a thought while reading about Jenny Lin's case that I feel might be worth discussing. The timeline on the day of her murder seems incredibly tight. Considering Jenny was on the phone with a friend at 5:15 pm and her poor father found her only an hour and a half later at 6:45 pm, that doesn't give much room for someone to enter, commit the crime, and leave without a trace. It makes me wonder, could it be possible that the perpetrator had actually been in the house before that specific time window? Maybe they were lying in wait for the perfect moment? It’s frightening to think about, but it might explain how they were able to operate so swiftly in those short minutes. My heart goes out to the Lin family—no parent should have to endure such a loss. I also applaud their continued fight to keep this case in the public eye through the Jenny Lin Foundation. Increasing the reward might just bring the right person forward who can help finally solve this case. It offers hope that maybe one day, justice will prevail for Jenny.

Hi everyone, Has anyone else been following the details surrounding the suspicious interaction John Lin had outside the BART station just a couple of weeks before Jenny's murder? I can't stop thinking about it. The fact that someone approached him claiming to have his daughter, and then this tragedy happened so soon afterward—it’s chilling. I know the police have said they don't believe this man is linked to the murder, but why would someone make such a bizarre claim out of the blue? I can’t even begin to imagine the heartache and confusion that John must feel about that interaction now. It must weigh on him heavily, wondering if it could have been a warning sign. I'm also curious if this has been a lead that the authorities have pursued with the intensity it seems to deserve. It’s one of those haunting details that really stays with you. If anyone knows more about this angle or has insights into how seriously it was investigated, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. Thanks for reading, and let’s keep Jenny and her family in our thoughts as we continue to hope for answers. Stay safe, everyone.

I'm trying to wrap my head around something that's been bugging me about Jenny Lin's case. I've been thinking about that strange encounter Jenny's dad had at the BART station. The guy who approached him and claimed to have his daughter—what a chilling thing to say, especially with what happened just days later. Is it possible that this man was testing the waters or trying to instill fear for some twisted reason? I know authorities don't think he was directly involved, but could he have been a part of a larger plan or even working with someone else? It just feels like such a peculiar detail to dismiss entirely. We've seen cases before where seemingly unimportant interactions turn out to be key. My heart goes out to the Lin family for all they've endured, and I hope this aspect of the case is still being investigated. Any thoughts on this might shed some light or lead us to something that could help move this forward. Curious to hear what others think!
