I was reading through the details of Sifeng Wu's case and something caught my attention — the fact that both girls left behind their passports when they disappeared. It's been playing on my mind because, as international travelers, their passports would have been vital if they planned to go far or were worried about being stopped. Is it possible they were picked up by someone they trusted, someone who perhaps had the means to help them without needing formal travel documents? They must have had some sort of plan if they took that big of a risk. I'm curious if anyone has looked into this angle more thoroughly. Given that Jiaqian was found over a year after they went missing, it feels like there may be more to the story regarding their disappearance and the circumstances around it. Does anyone else find this particular detail puzzling, or am I overthinking it? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
