I’ve been following the incredibly tragic case of Wakesha Bufford, and I just keep thinking about the ripple effects her death must have on her family and community. Losing someone so young is devastating, and I can't imagine the pain her loved ones are enduring. This is yet another instance that underscores the urgency of addressing domestic violence more effectively. In reading about her, it seems like she was a vibrant young woman with so much ahead of her. The fact that her case is now part of the grim statistics from 2016 makes it even more frustrating. I'm hoping that sharing her story helps bring more awareness and advocacy for victims of domestic violence. We, as a community, need to keep discussing and pushing for change to prevent future tragedies like this.

I've been following Wakesha Bufford's case, and it really struck a chord with me. I read somewhere that prior to the incident, she was trying to distance herself from her partner, which so many people can unfortunately relate to. It's infuriating and so disheartening to think she was taking steps to reclaim her life, only to have it stolen from her. I truly hope that sharing and discussing her story raises awareness about the warning signs of abusive relationships. This has to stop being such a common story. My thoughts go out to her family as well as everyone else living in fear of domestic violence. Stay strong, and let's keep advocating for change.
