I've been following Catherine Wicker's case, and one thing that's really sticking in my mind is the incredible bravery she must have shown during that awful moment in the parking lot. At 81, she was just going about her day. The fact that she tried to hold onto her belongings shows a lot about her character—strong and resilient. It's so infuriating that someone would target her in such a vulnerable moment.
The police sketch was released, and I remember thinking he almost seemed average, which makes it even scarier. He could be anyone, blending into the crowd.
