I was just reading about the Fred Washington case, and something that really caught my attention was the Silver Alert issued for him. My aunt had gone missing a couple of years back, and the community response was incredible, but it took a Silver Alert to really get the notice it needed. These alerts are so crucial, especially for our elderly loved ones who might be facing cognitive challenges. It gets their faces out there quickly, but I still feel there’s always more we can do to help. I’m hoping those in the Jacksonville area keep an eye out, and maybe share the alert on social media to keep spreading the word. Every bit helps!
