I've always found the timing of when Saunders was reported missing to be pretty intriguing. I mean, she was last seen in June, but wasn't reported missing until September. That's nearly a 3-month gap! I can't help but wonder if there was any specific reason for that delay. It makes me think about how back in the '70s, people might've been more hesitant to report someone missing, especially adults, because they might assume they were off doing their own thing.
But, with that big gap, it makes you think: was everyone just assuming she'd come back eventually, or was there something else going on? Plus, it seems like her family, especially her daughter who reported her missing, was genuinely worried given the unusual delay. I think there's a piece of the puzzle we might be missing here. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
