In the summer of 1977, 54-year-old Saunders Cloie Rymer, a resident of Brooksville, Florida, found herself in Cartersville, Georgia. It was there, on or around June 20th, that she was last seen by her husband, John D. 'J.D.' Rymer. Accounts of that day suggest a verbal altercation occurred between the couple, after which Saunders reportedly intended to leave Georgia and return to her home in Florida.
