Anyone else find it strange that Ravens left behind a map with a route from Phoenix to Utah in her car? It makes me wonder if she had intended to head straight to Kanab. But if that was the plan, why not mention it to anyone, especially when she'd previously talked about moving there for a job? Plus, she left behind her clothes and an uncashed unemployment check, so it doesn't seem like she planned to leave for a long time.
And that note, "God calls me to do his work so I must leave," feels so ominous. Do you think she could have been influenced by someone from her church? Her activities in the church and reading the Bible could have led her into something larger that she didn't discuss with her family. Yet again, I'm just speculating here.
Has anyone come across similar cases where missing persons left clues like maps but didn't seem prepared for an actual move? It's as if she was caught between two different decisions or plans. Curious to hear your thoughts.
Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Ravens case from '77, and something that's been nagging at me is the undeveloped roll of film found in her car. Once developed, Ravens's mom didn't recognize any of the photos. Could these images hold a clue or hint toward her sudden disappearance? It's such an odd detail, especially since film wasn't exactly cheap or something people wasted back then. Plus, who takes a whole roll of pictures and doesn't show them to anyone?
I'm wondering if maybe there was someone else in those photos, someone possibly connected to her disappearance. Or perhaps Ravens was trying to document something significant to her that isn't obvious to outsiders. Has anyone heard of any similar cases where photos like this played a key role? Just throwing this out there because it feels like a piece of the puzzle that's overlooked. Would love to hear your thoughts!
