Was going through Barbara Jean Monaco's case, and something's been bugging me about the informant who came forward. It's curious that they passed a polygraph test yet backed out after being denied immunity. It makes me wonder how close they were to the truth and what details they might have held back. It's not uncommon for someone with crucial info to retract their statement if they fear prosecution. Maybe the authorities were onto something with the lake search, especially since they found that cinder block with a rope. Still, without the informant's full cooperation, it's like a key piece of the puzzle is missing. Anyone else think this lead could hold more weight, or are there other theories out there worth considering?
