Has anyone else looked into the timing of when Carol’s car was discovered? I find it really strange that her Audi Fox was found a week after her disappearance, just sitting in a restaurant parking lot in Redondo Beach. It got me thinking about whether surveillance footage or witness testimonies from that area were ever checked back then. Restaurants can be busy spots, and even in the early '80s, surely someone might have noticed if the car just appeared out of nowhere or saw something unusual. It just seems there might have been an opportunity to catch something valuable in those early days that could've shed light on where she'd been. It's just unsettling that it took so long to refocus on the case while such odd details linger. Thoughts? Anyone find any info on reports from that time?
