Hey everyone, I've been diving into Patricia Ann Schmidt's case from 1985 and something caught my attention. I was reading old news articles and there's hardly any mention of the neighborhood dynamic on Baylor Road at the time she disappeared. Does anyone know if there were any reports or interviews with neighbors back then? It seems important, especially since she vanished from her home, yet there's so little info about potential witnesses. Maybe someone saw or heard something that wasn’t considered important at the time. I wonder if anyone’s tried to track down former residents for interviews. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, just been reading through some old cases and came across the disappearance of Patricia Ann Schmidt. Something that struck me is the fact she left behind her dentures. I know it might seem like a small detail, but has anyone considered what that might signify? Typically, dentures are an essential item for daily life, and leaving them behind implies she might not have planned to be away for long, or perhaps she was in a hurry. Could this mean she intended to return quickly or was she forced to leave unexpectedly? Just something I wanted to point out and see if anyone else had thoughts on what this might mean for the investigation. Any similar cases where leaving behind essential personal items offered clues? Would love to hear thoughts on this!

The detail about Patricia leaving behind her dentures is so puzzling to me. I think it's an unusual aspect that seems pretty significant. Most people wouldn't leave something like that behind unless they were in a rush or somehow prevented from taking them. It makes me wonder about the circumstances leading up to her leaving the house. Could there have been someone she knew who convinced her to leave quickly, or was she planning to come back soon? Just brings up a lot of questions that might help shed light on what might have happened that day. Has there been any follow-up from locals in Richmond around that time who might recall seeing or hearing anything unusual?
