I've been following Vicki Eagleman's case and am deeply troubled by the lack of urgency from the authorities when she was first reported missing. It's so upsetting to see cases like this, especially involving Indigenous women, where the response seems negligible initially.
Does anyone else find Sonny's account of her dropping him off and then disappearing suspicious? I mean, with his history of abuse toward Vicki, it's hard not to look at him with some skepticism, especially since her glasses and ring were found near her home. I can't help but wonder why it took weeks for authorities to take Vicki's disappearance seriously. It's awful for her family having to endure the pain of losing her AND feeling like the system isn't on their side.
I'm really hoping that with the FBI and tribal authorities still on the case, we'll see some progress and, ultimately, justice for Vicki. Maybe someone will finally come forward with the information needed to solve this.

It’s frustrating to think this potential clue might not have been analyzed thoroughly due to the delayed investigation. If those items had been examined sooner, maybe we’d know more about what happened to her. It’s unsettling to see how often things like this go overlooked in cases involving Indigenous women. My heart goes out to her family; they deserve to see justice done for Vicki.
