Has anyone else been struck by the possible role the mishandled evidence has played in Cassandra Johnson's case? It's so upsetting to think about how much might have been lost due to what happened back in 1997. From what I gather, a former investigator destroyed crucial evidence. Can you imagine the frustration and setback that must have caused? It's hard not to feel for Cassandra's family, especially her mother, who seems to be holding onto hope for some kind of closure. I wonder if the advancements in technology since then could offer any new leads, even with what's left of the evidence? Maybe there's something that can still be salvaged, perhaps through a fresh set of eyes or modern forensic techniques. For anyone else who's been following this case, what do you think are the chances of cracking it open again, given the circumstances? It's haunting to think of a young woman's life and potential cut short, and her little girl growing up without answers. Sending lots of thoughts and strength to Cassandra's family.
