Did anyone else catch the detail about Latrease Hunter's upper denture plate? I've been following missing person cases for a while now, and that's not something you see mentioned too often. It could be such a useful identifier. I wonder if dental records were ever checked or cross-referenced with any unidentified remains from that time period. It might sound small, but after all these years, any little detail could be crucial. Dental records can sometimes tell a story when everything else falls silent. If anyone has insights into whether this angle has been pursued or not, it would be interesting to hear. Maybe contacting dental offices in the area from back then could spark something? I know a long shot, but you never know with these cases...
I came across Latrease Hunter’s case while reading through some old files, and something that caught my attention was the mention of her scars. Scars can be pretty distinct, and I wonder if that could’ve helped jog someone's memory back in the day. Did anyone ever report seeing someone with similar scars in the area around the time of her disappearance? Or perhaps later on? If anyone was looking for her, those scars seem like they could have been crucial identifiers, especially in such a busy area as Fair Street Bottom. It's frustrating to think that such unique physical traits didn’t seem to lead anywhere. Maybe someone, somewhere, saw but didn’t think to report it at the time. If you have any info, it could still be essential in bringing some clarity to this cold case.
