Hey everyone. I've been reading up on the tragic case of Oscar Rice and Ernest "Chick" Bolden, and something that really stands out to me is the lack of forced entry at the crime scene. It's so haunting to think they likely knew the attacker and possibly even welcomed them into the home. How terrifying is that? How well do we really know the people around us? And it's incredibly frustrating that despite years of investigation, there haven't been major breakthroughs. My heart goes out to the families who've been waiting for justice all this time. If anyone has new insights or old memories that might help, I really hope they come forward. Peace to everyone involved.

Honestly, they might have left their door unlocked. It was very common in the 1940's-50's

I came across the tragic case of Oscar Rice and Chick Bolden, and it's been haunting me how they were so brutally taken from their families on that quiet night in 1986. It's baffling that after all these years, there haven't been any breakthroughs. The detail that sticks out to me is the lack of forced entry. It makes you wonder if the perpetrator was someone they trusted or at least knew well enough to let in. I can't imagine the pain their families have endured, wondering and waiting for justice that hasn’t come. If anyone out there has the slightest memory or clue, now is the time to speak up. Even the smallest detail could make a difference. Let’s hope that someday soon, their families get the closure they deserve.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the Oscar Rice and Ernest "Chick" Bolden case lately. It’s so unsettling how someone could commit such a horrific act and leave no evidence of a break-in. It makes you wonder about the trust factor involved. Knowing the attacker means someone close might have betrayed them, and that’s chilling. I can't begin to imagine what their families have been through all these years without closure. It's incredibly frustrating how there seems to have been no significant developments despite it being over three decades. I wonder if advancements in forensic technology could give the case a fresh lead, or if there's hope in someone coming forward with new information. If anyone here has any theories or thoughts on how the case might progress, I'd be interested in discussing them. Holding on to hope that one day justice will be served for Oscar and Chick's families.
