Wow, I’ve just been reading about the horrible tragedy involving the Scott family. It's so unsettling to think how such a terrible act can happen to a family in what seemed to be a peaceful home. My heart goes out to anyone who knew Barbara, Mike, Cathy, and Violet. I've been particularly curious about how the investigation took a turn after so many years. It seems like the case went cold for quite some time before Amy Vilardi and her husband Ross were charged. Does anyone know what kind of new evidence came to light that led to their arrest after all this time? I’m really interested in understanding more about the forensics or breakthroughs that might have been involved. It’s sometimes amazing, in a chilling way, how advancements in technology or a fresh look at evidence can suddenly change everything in a case.
