I can't stop thinking about the defensive wounds on Gail's thumb. It really speaks to the courage and terror she must have felt in those final moments. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for both her and Paul. I also wonder about Willis Keck—how reliable was lie detector testing back in the 1950s anyway? I've read that they weren't always accurate. The fact that the crime scene was so contaminated right from the start is just so frustrating. It seems like they lost so many crucial pieces of evidence because of that. I feel so much for the family who had to endure not just the loss but the uncertainty that came with it. All these years later, you’d hope something would surface to give them some peace. Has anyone been following if there have been any recent efforts or new leads in their case?
