Has anyone looked into similarities between Kristi's disappearance and other cases involving abandoned vehicles in remote areas? It's eerie how her car was found in such an isolated spot, almost as if she wanted to get away but then something went wrong. Also, the fact that her car stereo was missing seems odd and might suggest a random encounter with someone possibly looking to rob her. I keep wondering if there have been similar cases around California or neighboring states from that time period that might offer some clues or patterns. Anyone else think there might be a connection?
