Just found out about Margarett Marion's disappearance while diving into some old cases, and something that's really been bugging me is the situation with her car. How did it end up on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, still running? I know many have speculated about the suicide note and her struggles with depression, but does anyone else think it's strange that there were no signs of her on or around the bridge? It's a pretty major landmark, and it seems like someone or something would have popped up by now if she'd jumped. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but has anyone else heard of other cases where a vehicle was left in such a peculiar manner, and there was a totally different outcome than what was initially suspected? Just curious if there could be something more to it.

Has anyone ever wondered about the location where Margarett's car was found? The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is such a unique and eerie place for a vehicle to be left running. It's not the type of area you'd expect someone to abandon their car unless there was an intention behind it. Was the spot she chose significant to her for some reason? Being such a long bridge with a few stopping points, it puzzles me why she stopped at the two-mile marker rather than further along or at the beginning. Could it be more than just the note suggesting what might have happened? The absence of surveillance footage back in '94 makes this case even harder to unravel. How many people might have driven by that night, completely unaware of the significance of what they might have witnessed? I can't help but think there might be someone out there who remembers seeing something unusual that night. Anyone from the area who remembers driving over the bridge around that time might have details they thought were irrelevant then, but could really help piece this mystery together.

Does anyone else find it odd that Margarett's car was still running when it was found? It's been bugging me, because if she had decided to leave voluntarily, why abandon the car on the bridge with the engine still on? That might suggest a sudden decision or interruption. Plus, having the car there, blocking part of the bridge, means it would have been found pretty quickly, right? I wonder if someone else might have been involved, or if there's a missing piece about her movements that night that hasn't come out. Maybe more happened after she left the house than we know? I'm curious what others think about the running car detail and if it's significant or just a red herring.
