Something that has always bothered me about Daniel Standifer's case is the timing and location of his disappearance. Has anyone dug deep into the dynamics of the Stone Mug Cafe back in '94? I've been reading into it, and it seemed like quite the hotspot for locals, not just a random dive bar. I wonder if any other patrons there that night remembered seeing more about the altercation he was involved in. Given that it wasn't uncommon for stuff to go down in that area, does anyone think it's possible there might have been more eyewitnesses who either didn't come forward or weren't noticed by the police at that time? Maybe there are folks out there who didn’t realize they saw something important. Anyone with local insight from back then who can shed some light?
Hey everyone. I've been diving into Daniel Daryl Standifer's case and something just isn't sitting right with me. The street where he was last seen, near 65th and College, is a pretty busy area, even back then. Someone must’ve seen something that night, especially after that altercation in the parking lot. It was a Friday night, after all. Has anyone looked into whether any of the nearby businesses had cameras outside or if anyone remembers anything from around closing time at the Stone Mug Cafe? It’s frustrating thinking about how many potential witnesses there could be, but maybe it's just a matter of reaching out to the right people. I wonder if there's been any effort to canvas the area again, even after all these years. Would love to hear thoughts or theories related to this.
