I’ve been diving deep into the Debra Jean Asbury case, and I came across a detail that’s been bugging me. Why did she choose to leave her purse and keys behind that morning? It’s such a strange move considering she was planning to meet someone, presumably her boyfriend, at the nearby store. Could it be that she really trusted the person she was meeting so much that she felt comfortable leaving essentials behind? Or maybe there was an understanding between them that she'd be back very quickly? It makes me wonder if there’s more to the story of who she was going to see that day and what their relationship was like. It just seems off to me that someone would leave without items you'd usually consider important for a quick outing. Would love to hear theories or insights from anyone who has been following this case or has knowledge of similar situations.
