Does anyone else feel deeply frustrated about how many cases like Jhamal Shockley's have gone unresolved for so long? It breaks my heart that his family still doesn't have the closure they need. The violence in Philadelphia during 2007 was just overwhelming, and Jhamal's story is a tragic reminder of how systemic this problem is. I wonder if there are community programs now aimed at addressing the roots of gun violence? It would be reassuring to know that steps are taken to prevent more families from suffering this terrible loss. Sending strength to Jhamal's loved ones in the hope they someday find answers.
