I'm baffled by Abe's disappearance in 1996. It's so odd that he went missing while traveling a relatively short distance. Something that sticks out to me is the geography of the area—Tucson to between Tombstone and Gleason. It's a pretty desolate stretch with lots of open desert and mountains. Could this have been a factor? Maybe car trouble or someone else on the road? It just seems like a place where something unexpected could happen without anyone else around to help. Anyone familiar with that route or the area back then? It might offer some clues.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of foul play being involved in Abe's disappearance? The area between Tombstone and Gleason isn't exactly bustling. It's pretty remote, which could mean Abe encountered someone or something along the way. I'm curious if there were any suspicious sightings or reports of unusual activity in that area around the time he went missing. Maybe someone else out there had a similar experience or can shed some light on what was going on in that region back then? Feel free to share any info you might have!
