Has anyone else found it odd that Sherline was last seen heading to meet a "female friend" on South Carlisle Street, but there's no mention of who this friend might be or if they've been questioned? It's been over two decades, and we still don't seem to have details from this friend or even a name. I understand that this was in 1997 and record-keeping wasn't what it is today, but it feels like this is a piece of the puzzle that could really change everything. Did the friend see something that night, or was she even questioned by the police? Seems like a strange gap in the investigation if you ask me. Could be a lead waiting to be uncovered... ?
