Just stumbled across the case of Georgia Ann Smith and can't help but feel puzzled over the note left at Wal-Mart. It's such an intriguing piece of information, yet it's frustrating that it didn't lead anywhere. Who would write a note like that, and why? It’s almost as if someone wanted to give hope or create confusion among her family. Has anyone else read about similar cases where notes like these turned out to be significant? I know it’s a long shot since it was so many years ago, but could the note have been a deliberate attempt to mislead? Thoughts?
